Our Endeavor

The client wanted us to create a new social networking website with various features including Facebook login, managing user profile, wall, connection, follower, following, member in my area, photo system, etc. Additionally, the client also wanted us to sync login functionality of this website with his existing website Natopia.com.

Our Endeavor

Working on the project, the team has applied CakePHP, MySQL, and jQuery technologies to fulfill the client requirements and for obtaining the desired results. This website is easily manageable in English, Spanish, and Portuguese languages. Additionally, the users can simply login on the website by using their Facebook credentials, or by register to activate their profile. The website also has a Photo systems that will display all the created albums and uploaded photo in member system. This social networking website has various feartures which allows the users do the following

• Know more about their followers and members in the area
• Send friend request
• Invite connections besides importing Facebook contacts
• Share profile
• Recommended or add reviews
• View photo/album and add Facebook comment
• Upload photo in photo system in a specified category
• Browse photo by category, photo of the week, and the most popular album

We offered numerous admin functionality to enable admin do following

• Add category & subcategory for photo system
• Create/edit/delete users
• Manage static page content
• Manage all the banners and menus in photo system and member system

While the project development, the client has approved 2 major CRs for the project. The first CR is for a big enhancement in the existing member system and photo system with an option that allows the client to manage the entity profile and several major categories under Luv and recommendation system. The second CR is for "Earth-day" and "Make a difference" section. For this new section, we have reused several already developed section with some major design integration.

The Designing Part

Basically, the client required a web portal cum website for Nature, Travel, Adventure and various Experiences. He provided various guidelines on the design, style, whole look & feel of the website. While working on the client's requirements, we have created a web 2.0 website with a fresh web experience with excellent user-friendly functionalities. Our designers have used various suitable Color Theme, Fonts & Graphic styles, Buttons and Forms very skilfully. We have kept everything according to the website theme.
